Whether you're a local or a visitor, summer in Munich is all about the beer gardens. The 200 year-old tradition is as typically Bavarian as "Weisswurst" and "Lederhosen" are. The very best spot to look down on Munich is from the top of the "Frauenkirche" Church. For Science and Technology fans, the "German Museum" is not to be missed. It's the biggest of its kind in the world.
